What comes to magic bullet colorista II, it has this weird bug that makes some of the pixels turn yellow when they are corrected "too much". If you shoot with blackmagic, then the banding will probably be less of a problem for you. and also to hide the colour banding on compressed 8-bit footage that occurs when you remove the noise. On side note, I got filmconvert today on their black friday deal which seems to do nice job on the grain too…so if you gonna do lots of heavy denoising, you will need to add grain to bring back the organic feeling. I've then compensated the lag of noise by adding cinegrain film scans on top of it. Neat video has really saved lots of the footage I've had. ![]() It is really good and at least compared to earlier version of denoiser, neat video is lot more stable. I would also vote that go with neat video. But in my workflow Magic Bullet Looks and Colorista get me where I'm going quickly and easily. I use the CS 6 suite and I like Speed Grade. They have plugins for both Primere Pro and After Effects as well as one that will now work with Resolve if you want to go that route. Neat Video does a great job and only costs $99 US. It works well but takes longer to render than the "Neat Video" denoiser. I have the Red Giant suite and use it a lot. Will Adobe Speedgrade be adequate?Įven if I started learning on Resolve Lite which doesn't have a denoiser, I could always use the Red Giant Denoiser II, right? It's a lot cheaper than paying $1000 for the full Resolve. Mapas wrote:Black Friday for RED GIANT 40% on color suite software. ![]()
